Back in 1970, Manuel Paramés González, a visionary entrepreneur, family patriarch, bohemian, and good friend to his friends, commissioned the renowned architect Julio Simeão da Costa Alves (Casino Park Hotel / Carlton Park Hotel, Portugal, Funchal, Madeira Island) to design a residential project on a piece of land in La Cañiza. This would be a place where he could spend vacations with his family and host friends in his unique way.
Thus, Finca Paramés was born, with the architect designing the entire architectural ensemble, from the house to the smallest details, endowing it with its singular originality.
For many, this estate is synonymous with fond memories, pleasant experiences, and unique moments.
In 2017, the company Fincas Paramés Anton SL was established with the purpose of giving new life to the family’s lands and properties by sharing their wealth, surroundings, and charm with those who honor us with their visit. One of these properties is Finca Paramés, which, after two years of renovation and conservation work on both the interior and exterior—remaining true to its spirit—was reborn with a new name, Finca Briabí, in tribute to the place where it is located. Part of these renovations were supported by the LEADER program of the Rural Development Plan of Galicia 2014-2020.
Thus, in 2019, Finca Briabí was born, a 30,000 m² rural tourist complex where visitors can experience Briabí by enjoying all its facilities, including accommodations and extensive gardens, featuring a natural pool for swimming, happy animals, and certified organic agriculture where you can see local products. It is an ideal place for all types of private or corporate events.
